Meeting space

Conference room

The A.J. Fletcher Foundation is making its new conference room available for free to nonprofits.

The foundation, based in the historic Briggs Hardware building in downtown Raleigh, invites nonprofit groups to reserve the room for meetings, retreats or other functions.

"There are very few places, if any, that nonprofits can meet in a conference room that's equipped to do the things they need to do," says Barbara Goodmon, foundation president.  "It's a service we can offer."

The room seats 24 people, has a refrigerator, ice-maker, microwave and a plasma television for laptop-based presentations.

The space is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reserved, based on availability, by emailing Deremia Johnson at djohnson@ajf.org.
